WAYS TO MOISTURIZE YOUR HAIR.
Honey
Honey is very soothing, hydrating and moisturising. Honeys softening properties makes it a very effective moisturize. Massage 1/2 cup of honey into your hair, leave for 10-15 minutes and rinse with warm water.
Coconut Oil
Coconut oil is also an effective moisturiser, it also adds shine and helps grow hair. Massage this oil into scalp and comb through hair to ends, leave for 15-20 minutes, wash and rinse until it doesn't feel oily.
Lemon Juice And Olive Oil
Mix equal quantities of lemon juice, olive oil and water, massage into scalp, leave for 15-20 minutes, rinse and shampoo.
Cold Water Rinse
Water equals moisturizer, use cold water to rinse your hair for a few seconds before stepping out of the shower. This helps seals cuticles, prevents moisture loss and hair damage.
Other ways to keep hair moisturised includes;
1. Applying creamy leave in conditioner to hair
2. Seal twist at night by spritzing hair with water and retwisting with Shea butter.
3. Using conditioners that are thick and leave in after shampooing.
