I love African Styles (iro and buba)

So Iro and Buba is literally taking over the world one girl at a time. Iro (wrapper) and Buba (blouse) is typically worn by Nigerians mostly of the Yoruba tribe. Furthermore, it was mainly mothers and grandmothers who donned this style of dress in African lace. In the past, hardly would you ever see young ladies wearing it, but now Iro and Buba has become a must have in every wardrobe of a trendy and stylish lady.

Below are photos and ideas on how to style your own iro and buba.

Use lacy materials, this is absolutely beautiful and it adds more class and beauty to the outfit.

You can also use normal Ankara prints this is equally beautiful especially wen u use different designs of Ankara materials like in the pictures below.

Silk is bae, especially when used to sew iro and buba it's absolutely stunning and beautiful.

Suede is another beautiful material to use when styling or sewing your iro and there's no need to use same material for the buba that would be strange instead use lace blouse or chiffon long sleeved blouse like in the picture below.

Chiffon materials are also perfect for sewing iro and buba u can use different chiffon materials or the same material for both it's and buba like in the photos below.

There are amazing ways to Style your buba.

You can try the tightly fitted off shoulder top this is just beautiful and chick. It beautify's your out fit like in the photos below.

You can also try the loosed off shoulder blouse.

The puffy or bishop sleeve blouse is also also amazing.

Or you can try out these lovely blouse the sleeves are just spectacular
